The Loch Ness Circular Walk is an 81 miles
way-marked walking trail. The route follows the South Loch Ness Trail from Inverness to Fort Augustus, and then the Great Glen Way from Fort Augustus back to Inverness the captail on Scotland’s Highlands.

This self guided Scottish walking holiday in Scotland’s Highlands in The Great Glen makes a varied and interesting hiking tour. The Great Glen passes through some of Scotland’s most stunning landscape, the magical lochs and mountains full of wildlife

You can combine this holiday with our walk on the Great Glen Way or West Highland Way for a longer walking holiday in the Scottish Highlands.

These daily distances are only a suggestion. If you would like to walk longer or shorter distances, we can arrange that too.
Our stated distances include mileage to the accommodation or pickup point and so may not agree with the guide book mileages.
Rest days can be taken in any location.

Why not combine this walk with a hiking tour in another part of England or the UK. Our staff will be happy to advise on necessary transfers.
