This is the start of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The South West Coast Path leaves Exmouth and makes its way to Budleigh Salterton. This charming little seaside town has a old world feel to it and a slight 1920/30’s style. Budleigh Salterton has a small selection of interesting shops.

Day 5: Budleigh to Sidmouth.    7 miles     moderate/strenuous
From Budleigh Salterton the South West Coast Path cuts inland briefly to cross the River Otter and then along the top of the characteristic red sandstone cliffs of Devon to Sidmouth.
