The Wicklow Way is a way-marked walking route through the heather-clad Wicklow Mountains National Park from Clonegal to Marley Park, via Shillelagh, Glendalough with it’s Monastic City and cathedral, round tower and lakes, the Guinness Estate, the stunning gardens and waterfalls at Powerscourt and the charming village of Enniskerry.
You end or start, your walking tour in Ireland’s capital city of Dublin.
The Wicklow Way hiking trail begins at Clonegal and is an 83-mile hiking tour through Ireland’s stunning Wicklow Mountains. Our total mileage of 96 miles includes walking distances to accommodations.
Wicklow is known as the Garden of Ireland and provides some of the best mixture of landscape Ireland has to offer, with a great selection of Irish pubs and bars along the way.
The Wicklow Way hiking trail is one of Ireland’s national walking routes, along with the Kerry Way and the Dingle Way, and was devised by Dubliner J.B Walker in 1966.
This is a popular Irish walking tour, so we have carefully selected comfortable accommodation to ensure you are well rested each night after a busy day hiking and sightseeing.
You can walk this hiking tour over 8 days at about 12 miles per day. Our mileages include walking distances to accommodations.

This walking holiday in the UK operates March to October and in either direction.

The daily distances are only a suggestion. If you would like to walk longer or shorter distances, we can arrange that too.
Our stated distances include mileage to the accommodation or pickup point and so may not agree with the guide book mileages.
Rest days can be taken in any location.

Why not combine this walk with a hiking tour in another part of the UK or Ireland. Our staff will be happy to advise on necessary transfers.
