Did your holiday come up to expectation? “In many respects – but rather too much of the sea was hidden from the coast path behind sea defences and shingle banks; the path on the shingle was tiring; caravan sites diverted too much of the path on the last day; miles of salt marches can be boring; and my wife was disappointed that there was no real scope for swimming in the sea. The offshore attractions which we had booked in advance were very good –Blakeney boat trip, Holkham Hall and Felbrigg Estate; we also enjoyed Sheringham Estate, Walsingham Abbey, Wiverton Hall and the sites in King’s Lynn especially St George’s Guildhall”.
