Do you have comments or observations about the accommodations provided that may help us to improve our holidays? on the whole excellent! We were disappointed to learn that the proprietress of our favorite, the farmhouse B&B in Dungeon Ghyll is being forced to give up her tenancy and hope something else takes it over – though she will be difficult to replace! The only problem we had was in rosenthaite. We were directed to the only pub for dinner only to find them short staffed and not offering dinner. We had to take a taxi to and from a restaurant 3 miles away. It was an excellent and memorable meal, however, so it turned out fine in the end.
How were the transportation facilities? “Perfect. taxis, who picked us up in Bassenthaite was exactly on time.”
Anything else? “So much fun! Thanks for scheduling such great weather!”
